LA TORTA DI MANDORLE is a flourless almond cake with centuries-old Jewish origins. Deceptively simple yet quite delicious, it is made with just almonds, sugar, and eggs.
We make this cake poured into a sweet almond-y crust (the way my mother made it), and also make it without a crust, for those of you gluten-free.
